The Level 30 Mount Controversy

We all knew it was going to happen. Blizzard announced it, the opinion wars began. On the Trade channels. I saw a lot of opinions fly around while I was in Stormwind, and this is mine.
At first, I thought having level 30 mounts was very unfair to all the players who worked really hard to make it to 40. I still believe that.
However, when I was level 28 last week, questing in Ashenvale, I literally spent two and a half hours searching for ONE NPC. And I thought to myself, “Wow! A mount would be really nice right about now.”
So, level 30 mounts. Unfair? Maybe. Useful? Yes. Make the decision for yourself, but don’t disrespect others that worked hard by bragging about it.

I saw that when I came back to WOW a few weeks ago boy was I surprised. I remember looking forward to getting mine at level 40 with my hunter; however, I do think it’s good that the lowered the level to acquire a mount.
As you get in your twenties some of those quests are spread far apart a mount definitely helps you out. I’m not playing my hunter these days, but I am playing my draenei fire mage. When she dinged 30 last week I instantly went to Exodar and purchased my mount.
I was going to get a saber (I have the rep and lready have the regular and epic with my night elf) but decided to get the Elekk. In fact I have two one purple and the other brown.
