Returning Home

Special Weekend Edition!

Returning, broken and saddned by the traitor priestess, I was welcomed by the entire Blood Watch. Seeing their happy faces erased the battle images from my mind and replaced them with bright, warm light. There were people here I had helped months ago when I first arrived, and waiting for me, just for me, was the Prophet Velen. “This is all for you, Amithyst.” he said. “You saved all these people and thousands more. You have risen above the strife of this world and in doing so elevated all of us with you.” He smiled at me. “You have done so much – more than many could do in ten lifetimes – yet your life has just begun. If we only had a thousand heros like you.” Then his face darkened. “But listen well, Amithyst. Your destiny lies in the Outland. I have seen it in visions, a prophecy yet untold. Find out people, Amithyst. Find them and bring them home…” He smiled and handed me a folded garment. The tailors of the villiage made me a tabbord that I should wear in celebration of their hero. I found myself blushing as I looked around.

The sick Night Elf priestess I assisted long ago was here. She grinned at me, saying, “You probably don’t remember me, but you saved my life. I have recently become healthy enough to walk on my own. I wanted to thank you for what you did for me and appologize for what I may have said…” she paused, and I remembered her saying something about me being a demon, but that wasn’t important. “Thank you, Amithyst. May Elune always watch over you.”

Near the priestess was Admiral Odesyus, the man I had helped in seeking a traitor, and putting that traitor down. “You’ve come a long way, Amithyst. A long way indeed… But I knew you were destened for great things. We all knew!” At the top of his voice, he yelled, “All hail Amithyst!” And my face burned red again. I didn’t deserve all this. He leaned in close to me and whispered, “And thanks again for taking care of our little gnome problem…” I nodded, understanding.

Kessel, the man who allowed me to ride his mounts through the isles to bring a message of warning waved at me, smiling and saying, “I’ve come to support the draenei champion!” I waved back.

Exarch Menelaous grabbed me from behind, hugging me tightly. “I wouldn’t have missed this for the world, Amithyst. We are proud of you.”

When I was sure my ribs weren’t broken, I looked on. Cowlen shyly approched me. “I wanted to thank you for what you did for me.” he said. “You gave me the courage to take back my home from the beasts in the forest. In doing so, I found Magwin!”

I congradulated him. This was good news! And then – someone I wanted to see more than anyone. The tribe that tought me about the earth, about the spirit world, and about friendship.

The Stillpine High Chief greeted me in his native tounge. I understood him, having learned their language on my spirit journey. “Promised One, do you remember us?” He asked.

“Of course,” I said, tears in my eyes. This was all so much…

“Do you recall the prophecy of Kurz? This moment was pre-ordained. You have done what you were put on this world to do.” He bowed before me. “Draenei will always be welcome among my people.”

I fell in and hugged him. He was so soft, like a fluffy teddy bear. He was shocked at first, but then placed a paw on my back in return. I sobbed into his chest. I was done here, everything was complete. I was ready to move on to another land, knowing I had the support of all my friends.

Due to the death of the Blood Elf leader on Bloodmyst Isle, and the support of her friends, Amithyst made a very special ring with her most advanced Jewelcrafting abilities. This is a blue item, and will be awarded to someone lucky on server Feathermoon. Comment with your charater name and level to recieve this item!
