I’ve begun my training today. Once again, I joined Fugikuro to learn various things. We wound our way through the Barrens, among other places. I want to say I learned a lot, but his presence makes me forget many things.
((On another note, something AMAZING happened to me today! My childhood best friend called me! Ok, so it doesn’t sound amazing, but I haven’t talked to him in 5 or 6 years! And to top it off, he’s going to re-activate his WoW account and play with me! I thought I was going to explode! I saw his name on the caller ID, and thought… “This can’t possibly be right…”. But it was! He’s doing very well for himself, except for a broken foot. But he sounds all grown up now, it kind of makes me sad. When I was little, he gave me a curved dagger (either for my birthday or for Christmas), and it’s under my bed! You know, in case of… intruders. I’ve missed him very much, and speaking with him again has made my heart very happy.))

Due to my vow to protect those I love, I (sadly) left my guild on their own and joined the Kul Tiras Marine Corps. I know with them, I can get the training I need. I can learn not to be afraid of everything. With them, I know that one day, I will have my revenge.

While being escorted to the Shimmering Flats last night, Fugikuro and I ran into some trouble with the horde. Taurins, to be exact. Two Druids and a Hunter. Fugikuro is strong, but one man cannot stand among many. I was crushed when he fell, even knowing a Druid as powerful as himself could return, I cried at the loss. All I could do was stand by and watch as my dearest friend was killed by the hand of the horde.
I will never watch that again. I’ve decided to train hard so I can be his equal and protect him when I am needed!

I spent the day with Fugikuro yesterday. We visited Stranglethorn Vale to wipe out some issues there. At some points, when fighting trolls, Fugi seemed to be a little uncomfortable. I’m not sure why, but I’m sure someday, he’ll tell me.

I was lucky enough to be able to go swimming near the reefs where Watyr and I used to play! Fugikuro make’s my head spin. I don’t know why, I really don’t.
After a day of near death experiences, I was invited back to his home where I got totally smashed on dwarven beer. I offered Fugi some, but he said he doesn’t do well with alchahol. So, luckily, I had some milk with me I was able to offer instead. It was a good night, full of adventure and new discoveries.

I was lucky enough to visit the Kul Tiras Marine Corps after leaving the monistary. It got my mind off Watyr, and gave me time to help Zypherion and Gyronos with their troops. Unfortunately, I have to say, they need a lot of work. Three showed up, two were late, one so late she missed everything and was ignored completely. They need a lot of training before they’re ready to face the horde.

It seems, once again, I find myself at the Monastery. I knew it was corrupted, but not like this. Fugikuro was kind enough to take me under his wing, once again.

He’s so serious, sometimes its a little frightening. There seems to be so much hurt in his eyes, though.
And speaking of hurt…
I haven’t heard from Watyr in over a month. It isn’t like her – she hasn’t even written back to me.

I learned about a doctor that lived in the west, and decided to take a boat from the harbor to meet with him. Fugikuro had escorted me to the Scarlet Monastery earlier, and he got cut up pretty bad defending me. I bandaged him as best as I could, but I need to know the most advanced first aid I can so I can actually help him more.
When I arrived, the doctor was no where to be found, and so I wandered a bit out of the city and into the swamps.
It was such a creepy place, I didn’t go far on my own. Plus, the bugs wouldn’t leave me alone. So, now I find myself holding up in this town until the doctor is in the house.

Unfortunately for me, I find myself asleep long before the moon rises. However, last night, I couldn’t sleep at all! An entire new world opened up for me, one of darkness and its play with light. So intruiging, I’m going to stay up tonight, also!

The Level 30 Mount Controversy

We all knew it was going to happen. Blizzard announced it, the opinion wars began. On the Trade channels. I saw a lot of opinions fly around while I was in Stormwind, and this is mine.
At first, I thought having level 30 mounts was very unfair to all the players who worked really hard to make it to 40. I still believe that.
However, when I was level 28 last week, questing in Ashenvale, I literally spent two and a half hours searching for ONE NPC. And I thought to myself, “Wow! A mount would be really nice right about now.”
So, level 30 mounts. Unfair? Maybe. Useful? Yes. Make the decision for yourself, but don’t disrespect others that worked hard by bragging about it.

…and other fun things.

I found a magical scroll recently, and upon reading it, I found myself really energized!
I had the pleasure and honor to RP with a good friend of mine, Knight-Champion Fugikuro. I’ve mentioned him before, of course, and he will be brought up more and more as I am able to play with him more often! It was very exciting and invigorating to be able to take my RPing to new hights.
